What’s the Deal with Supplements?
Ah yes, one of the hottest markets in the fitness industry. Supplements and all the marketing surrounding them across the industry. Hundreds of companies and thousands of total supplements exist and proclaim a boatload of benefits. We must remember, however, these are companies who, at the end of the day, strive to earn profits.
So, do supplements work or are they just a waste of money that solely help companies earn a lot of revenue? As with many things the truth lies in between these two extremes. Some supplements have copious amounts of research data on them showing clear beneficial effects; others not so much. Today, I’ll answer some questions on this matter and give everyone a good baseline understanding on which supplements to consider trying.
