Welcome to the 51st issue of the ABS Audio Newsletter. Today I would like to go over some of the nuance that’s involved with coaching clients on their nutritional habits. People all come with their own niche goals, needs, challenges, strengths, weaknesses, etc. The assessment is increasingly important to allow yourself the opportunity to achieve progress as efficiently and intelligently as possible.
Some of the considerations are obvious; others less so. Let’s list a few shall we…
Lay out what the goal is
Determine the underlying “why”
What timeframe do we have at our disposal to achieve the goal?
What are the necessary changes that needed to be made and are they reasonable?
What are the potential challenges that could come into play? (time, economic, health, availability and other constraints.
Is this individual ready to diet?
To track or not to track?
Determining caloric needs
Determine which dietary practice may be best for the individual
